This piece was created, start to finish, in one studio sitting. Unusually for me, there was no inspiration photo or even plan - I just started moving colours around, and followed where they led. The effect is quite stormy, yet I always see some light, some brightness, some hope, beyond the clouds.
Mixed media: acrylic and latex paints, liquid asphalt (rubberized). Painted on gallery depth cradled birch panel. Finished with a gloss coat.
