This project was such a fun collaboration between artist and client. The brief: to create a meaningful work of art as a wedding gift, from the bride's thoughtful sister. The newlyweds are a truly international couple, currently living and working in Italy. As a starting point, we looked through photographs shot by the sister herself on a recent visit, and selected one that conveyed the warmth of a summer day in Tuscany. The rosy glow in the sky was a specific request - for the rest, I was left free to interpret the scene according to my own artistic sensibilities.
